James' Birthday Party

Just a few pics from our big boy's 7th birthday party. Held a couple of weeks late due to school holidays and parental disorganisation, but a roaring success nonetheless.

The party was at a local indoor rock-climbing facility and all the boys in James' class were in attendance, as well as Thomas and Matthew (Graham and Leanne's two youngest). The boys were all roped and harnessed with an adult on the bottom of every rope, so they basically climed up and abseiled down.



I supplied the food, the boys supplied the mess and someone else cleaned it up. Bliss...



They all had a great time climbing and all made it to the top of the wall and cake turned out OK too considering that it was iced AT the party - long story... Fortunately these pics were taken before Ella swiped her finger through the 'James'...




The advantage of having a party two weeks late is of course the unexpected additional presents. There was a definite Bakugan theme to this years gifts so James was overjoyed as he has gone from 3 to 20-odd in the blink of an eye.








James declared that it was the best party he had ever had. No pressure for next year then...
